I'm amused that the normal way we Americans start a new year is by focusing on what we aren't doing well, what we don't have and what we want to change. Seems to me it'd be much healthier to focus on what we do have, what we are doing well and what we are thankful for right here and right now. So come start your 2013 with me, cultivating gratitude and thankfulness!
We will explore the power of gratitude from personal, holistic and scientific perspectives and create our own gratitude bead necklaces.* We will also honor that, while gratitude is healthy and wonderful, it does not take away the difficulties of life, rather, it balances them out.
*if you would like to use beads of your own choosing please feel free to bring them along (you should have around 100 beads with one that is unique and stands out from the rest) otherwise basic beads and supplies will be provided!
