Welcome to my blog!

I'm an acupuncturist, teacher, fertility specialist, patient centered advocate, mom, activist and more! This blog is a place for me to write down the things on my mind, the things I discuss over and over, and the things I find helpful, interesting, and inspiring all in the hope that someone else out there, maybe YOU, will find some of these things to be helpful, interesting and inspiring too. I love learning, I love sharing, and I am passionate about helping others lead more balanced, fertile, and healthy lives - while trying to do the same myself. So here goes... The Blogging Life...

I'm totally going to StickK with this Goal!!!

I just stumbled upon a cool website designed to help you stick with goals called stickK.com if you have a goal you've been slacking on (wink wink, is that too obnoxious?) check it out, it's pretty fun and easy! I'm  totally giving it a try!

So what's the goal that I'm putting myself on the line for you ask?  My BLOG!!  To date, this blog has been a random, hodgepodge of a) research and clinical stuff I see and stick up here for people to look at for those who want the "proof" Chinese medicine is legit and can help them, b) articles I've written about things I find myself talking about over and over again and feel like a blog post to direct folks to might be helpful, c) rants (that are trying not to be rants) when something gets my goat, and last but not least d) info on my classes.  Pretty disjointed, and not really written with a clear voice... or to be more precise, not really written with MY voice.  And those of you who know me know in person, I have no problem on this front!!

And if I don't stick with it... well it's not an option!  I vowed to give money to a cause I find totally vile and abhorrent if I don't do it... what could be more motivating than that!??  (don't ask what cause unless you want to spur on another post in the spirit of option "c" above!

So, bear with me as I try to turn this blog around into something more ME and hopefully something that I'll like writing for, instead of feeling like it's been an embarrassingly long time since I've posted so I channel my parochial school guilt and post something to assuage my inner nag!  Should be a fun experiment care to join me??
